Hi everyone! I'm sure some of you have been wondering what I like to do in my spare time. Well, in my spare time, I like to play piano, swim (I am on a swim team and have won many first places for state), I like to play chess, I like to read a great book, and of course, I also like to play Animal Jam and post on this Animal Jam Storm blog. I recommend Percy Jackson, Harry Potter, and many other series, but I can't keep track of everything! My favorite subjects? Well, the truth is, I like every subject in school and I don't really hate anyone. Even the kid that sometimes throws a tantrum- I can still be kind to him and sit next to him in math class. I think he was actually the inspiration that came to me when I formed the pack on Animal Jam- Peace Corps for Animal Jam. I thought, well, everyone really has some good inside of them, but whether they want to show it or not- it's completely their choice. I think both my teachers are really an inspiration to me, and the best teachers I ever had. They made me understand what the true meaning of friendship is, and that in the beginning of the school year, the emphasis is not on letter grades, it's actually on learning to embrace, learn, and expect through challenges. So all of you out there- try to be kind to people you don't really even like- there's actually a tiny bit of good inside of them- but you might have to search like an explorer to find it. This year, I also like reading quotes, and many of the quotes have true meanings in them. My student planner has a quote that says: "It is not in the stars to hold our destiny but in ourselves. " -William Shakespeare. And I think I know what that means, I think it means that you should keep going and persevere even when in the hardest challenges that go through everyone's life at least more than once.
